Children aged 5 and up are invited to explore the fine arts with unique, hands-on activities lead by
Howard
County's own KidzArt.

Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and on-site registration is suggested as space is limited. A parent must accompany children.

Friday, June 12 - 5:30: See like an artist and draw a summer dragonfly
?xml:namespace>
Friday, June 12 - 6:30: Travel to
Mexico and use traditional yarn painting to create a unique framed mirror.

Saturday, June 13 - 12:30 & 3:30: Celebrate color with the creation of a stunning watercolor still life - Flowers in a Vase

Saturday, June 13 - 1:30 & 5:30: "Reduce and Reuse" by creating a glittering suncatcher with a recycled CD and beautiful beads.

Saturday, June 13 - 2:30 & 6:30: Mexican yarn painting mirror

Sunday, June 14 - 12:30 & 3:30: Draw a charming sea turtle on the beach

Sunday, June 14 - 1:30: design and build your own model boat out of clay and foil.

Sunday, June 14 - 2:30: Make a festival mask with copper sheeting, feathers and markers.

Sunday, June 14 - 4:30: Just in time for Father's Day, make a "masterpiece in a box" for Dad (or WITH Dad)
