Reading and Wine & Cheese Reception with
Novelist Sheila Kohler
Presented in partnership with the Howard County Poetry & Literature Society
South African-born Sheila Kohler will read and talk about her new novel, Becoming Jane Eyre, which imagines the dichotomous life of Charlotte Brontë, as well as her other six novels and short stories. A film based upon her novel, Cracks, opens in U.S. theaters this year after debuting at the Toronto Film Festival. The film was directed by Jordan Scott, daughter of famed director Ridley Scott. The evening begins with a wine and cheese reception.
