Cinema Columbia is challenging all aspiring filmmakers to create and submit an original short film to be screened during the Festival on June 23, 2011. With only a time limit requirement, filmmakers are free to follow their creative vision wherever it takes them. Best of Festival will be awarded at the screening and featured on the Festival website during the 2012 season as well as other prizes.

Our juried, invitational show returns in June 2012 and is seeking artisans with original work, representing a breadth of media including functional and wearable art. ArtPark is part of LakeFest, a three-day celebration of the arts at the Columbia lakefront which is free to the public and runs in conjunction with the 2012 Columbia Festival of the Arts.

Your creativity is needed to turn a plain wood planter box into a one-of-a-kind work of art!
Planters will be displayed during the free LakeFest weekend, June 10-12, and at various venues throughout the Festival.

The completed artwork—with the form attached—should be delivered to the Columbia Festival of the Arts during normal business hours, 9am – 5pm, June 1 thru June 3, 2011.
