Your summer night is sure to sizzle with the contemporary, urban, Latino sounds of Sweet Plantain. With a unique style that blends Latin, classical, jazz and improvisation, this string quartet is quickly gaining critical acclaim, as well as the admiration of their musical peers. Individually and collectively, these four award-winning virtuosos have collaborated and recorded with some of the world’s leading artists, including Tito Puente, Marc Antony, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, and k.d. lang, and bring their rhythmic vitality to Belmont for an exciting evening under the stars.
